The Funeral (2007-02-07)
This undertaker in Hung Hom where KL's mother's funeral was held is probably the most well-known in Hong Kong
These special flower shops catering only for funerals are ubiquitous around the funeral home
A sign above the center stage which translates roughly to RIP
Most of the flower arrangements received looked like these
A colorful flower arrangement (for a funeral??)
All flower arrangements have names of the senders on top
Flowers from my parents
Program for the funeral
Token to give to funeral attendees who have to eat the candy at the wake before they go home. The attendees also give money to the griefing family on arrival stuffed in white envelopes and the amount is always in odd number because even numbers denote "good things come in pairs" which sounds bad in a superstitious way for those who believe it
