Lunch at home (2004-06-02)
This past Monday I invited my girlfriend over for lunch. We had a great time chit-chatting and eating. She loved my cooking and drank the entire jug of lemonade I made. She said it's the best she's ever drunk. I believe her because every person who has tasted my lemonade asks for the recipe, it is delicious and refreshing if I may say so myself.
After lunch I showed her the bird feeder from which a sparrow was
feeding, she was quite amazed at the whole contraption. I also
showed her some pictures I took in Hong Kong. After that we
returned to the kitchen where I made a batch of blueberry and walnut
muffins for her to take home along with the daikon savory cake I made
the night before.
I'm still eating Takano's yummy apple pies she brought me and drinking home-made lemonade. Friends, nice food, good time; life's big pleasure.
