Lunch At Azuma, Asakusa (2008-04-06)

Azuma always seems to be the restaurant we go for lunch in Asakusa (kanji).  Every time we look for a place to eat in the area, we would end up going there for some unknown reason. (scratches head)

The restaurant serves typical Japanese food such as fried food, ramen, sushi and eel.  Serlina and I both had the Mixed Fry Set and David and KL had the Anago (white eel) Over Rice Set.

Our set came with a generous portion of a fried pork medallion, shrimp, fish, large scallop, and Japanese white yam which were all fried to perfection with a crunchy exterior.  The pork was so tender that it required little effort to chew.  Just yummy.

Service was fast and friendly, Azuma is a good place to have a quick bite in the heart of Asakusa's Kaminarimon Temple.
