Enjoy This Day (2008-12-25)
The world has gone way beyond commercializing Christmas to ever go back to the more simple and puritan way of celebrating what Christmas is really about.
I mean can you imagine eliminating Christmas trees and Santa Claus
from the holiday equation? Can you not shop for gifts for anyone,
especially your children? Can you spend more time in the church
than in the mall? Can you throw a bible-reading fellowship to
celebrate the
birth of Christ instead of a Christmas party at your home?
But since we've gone on this no-return road of a commercialized Christmas, we might as well cherish our time with family and friends, trim the Christmas tree, and enjoy a special dinner with loved ones on this day. Just remember to say Happy Birthday to Jesus.
