Geisha (2009-04-09)
After the tofu lunch, we boarded another bus for Kiyomizudera, another hugely popular temple in Kyoto, as well as a UNESCO world heritage site. After getting off the bus, there's a 10-minute walk up a slant road
to the temple and would you believe we saw geisha! We saw two
pairs, both of whom had a woman carrying a basket with cell phones and
cameras that
she took pictures of the geisha at various spots. I don't know
what the story was behind the female photographer, we just followed
them along the way and took their pictures too, hahaha! We
could've followed them all the way up the steps to the other side of
the temple, but our purpose wasn't geisha that day, so we split and
turned the opposite way to go to the entrance of Kiyomizudera.
Due to the many photos I took of the geisha-san and Kiyomizudera,
pictures of the temple will have to go up on the post tomorrow.
