New Neighbors (2009-08-17)
Our nextdoor neighbor moved out in April and we didn't get new ones until the end of July. As social custom would have it, the new neighbors (a woman and her son) dropped by the day they moved in to give us a gift which is a box of detergent. I like "functional" gifts like that.
In return, I gave her two fat cucumbers from my cucumber plants. I also plan to bring her some homemade brownie later on.
