Yumcha At Tao Heung (2010-01-28)
Dec 4, last full day in Hong Kong.We decided to have an earlybird yumcha for breakfast. Early
morning and late afternoon is the cheapest time to yumcha as many dim
sum restaurants offer greatly discounted prices on this delectable
food. There are several restaurants that serve morning dim sum
around our hotel,
and the closest one for us is Tao Heung in Carnarvon Plaza, just a
couple of minutes from Hyatt.
Food was in general good except the pork buns which had an
overwhelming five spice flavor that I didn't like. I don't
remember the prices of the dim sum, but they totaled HK$90/US$11.
Tao Heung waives service charge and tea charge.
Because of this dim sum breakfast, we skipped lunch and had a bowl of beef noodles late afternoon. Pictures of them at the bottom of the gallery.
