Terrible Bread At Paul (2010-11-15)
Paul was a sandwich shop recommended by Frommer's London guide book. We decided to grab a quick lunch at the one near our station before the bus drive to Stonehenge.
Man, it was the worst bread I've ever eaten! While the flavor
was
alright, the texture was horrible. It was so hard that it tasted
like it had been left out on the counter uncovered for days.
Fortunately the chocolate tart was delicious enough to amend this meal.
Incidentally I never like Paul's bread in Tokyo either, it had the same problem: tough as nail.
