You can have just about any type of food delivered to your house/apartment in Tokyo. Pizza, sushi, Chinese and ramen are some of the most popular ordered food.
Ramen and sushi are almost always delivered to the customers in ceramic bowls and lacquer sushi boxes. When people finish with the food, they just need to place the empty containers outside the doors which will be collected by the deliveryman later. Another Japanese practice made possible by the low crime rate here.
