Dynamite Watermelons (2006-08-23)
Almost all watermelons you see on the market here are grass-green-colored with dark green lines running from top to bottom. Recently I saw a couple of solid green watermelons in individual boxes on sale in our supermarket. They have the most unusual name--Dynamite Watermelons! Their color is so deep and shiny that they do look a bit like a dynamite, especially those depicted in cartoons.
Those watermelons were a little more expensive than their general
counterpart, but with a sales pitch like "Explosive Tastiness" on their
label, how could I not try? I'm glad to report that it's very
sweet and juicy, its taste exploding in my mouth!
