Shopfronts (2004-05-12)
Many shops are pretty creative when it comes to dressing their entrance. Flashy colors and banners are commonly used for such a purpose. Big animated characters often adorn shopfronts. And colorful fake flowers are almost a must for decorating pachinko (Japanese slot machines parlors). When night falls, shop decoration seems to come alive with carefully-placed lights or flashing neon signs. Sometimes it can be just as fun browsing the wacky shopfronts as it is the inside.
