Hotpot Dinner (2007-12-07)
It isn't freezing cold yet (or perhaps it won't be this winter with this global warming and all), but nippy enough for us to enjoy a hotpot dinner.
I bought a bottle of yuzu (Japanese lemon) soy sauce as a dipping
sauce as per KL's special request. He also got a pack of yuzu
tofu and some duck meatballs on his way home.
The fire on the table heated the room, the piping hot food warmed
our bodies and the yuzu gave a refreshing lightness to the meaty
heaviness. It was a dinner thoroughly enjoyed.
