Lanterns Restaurant Cooking Class (2009-12-23)
I got Lanterns restaurant's cooking class info from wikitravel. The restaurant is located within the restaurant streets frequented by tourists so it's very easy to find. We met the chef sharply at 9am at Lanterns where she introduced herself, explained how the day would go and we were off to the wet market on cyclo to shop for ingredients.
There's only one more couple besides us who's made up of an
executive chef with 15 sous chefs under him in a lodge in Switzerland
and his Singaporean Canadian wife who works for UN in Geneva!!

about power couple, holy moly.
The class ran from 9 am to just past 1 pm including the food we made
for
lunch and the cost was just US$14 per person, what an unbelievable
bargain! I took many photos that day, so I'll post them in three
parts. There'll be wet market photos tomorrow and the actual
cooking on the following day.
