Les Deux Magots (2010-12-16)
After the ice cream, there's time to kill before dinner. So we decided to spend it in a cafe to experience the classic French living.
The image of relaxing at a table arranged theater style in front of a cafe maybe very romantic and fine, but in reality KL and I could not stand the cigarette smoke in the outside seating area. And believe me, lots of French people smoke, walking on the streets or sitting at a cafe's outdoors seats. So we told the waiter of Les Deux Magots we preferred to sit inside.
Les Deux Magots is made famous by its pair of Chinese statues up on
the wall and its past patrons such as Ernest Hemingway and Pablo
Picasso. It is a place to see and be seen.
