Kowloon Hotel (Double-bed Room) (2012-04-13)
After picking up our bags at Hyatt after lunch, we walked across Nathan Road back to Kowloon Hotel.
The staff at the reception asked KL if he would like a double-bed or
a twin-bed room, not realizing there's a size difference in the rooms,
he chose the former. Turns out it was a lot smaller than twin-bed
rooms (although they cost the same) and it sure was a tight squeeze
with our two suitcases opened on the floor.
Next time when a check-in staff asks you if you want a double or
twin room, be sure to ask if it's the same cost, then if it's the same
size. Live and learn, live and learn.
