Unbeatable postal service (2004-03-30)
This has happened to me a few times: I come home and find a
notice from the mailman saying I have missed a parcel delivery ( not
registered or insured mail, just your ordinary plain old third class
mail).
This is what I need to do: If I contact the post office before
6pm
that day either by calling a voice-link number (no need to actually
talk to a person) or filling a simple form on their website, the
mailman will come back again that NIGHT to deliver the parcel. If
I miss the 6pm deadline, the parcel will be delivered to me on another
day of my choice, at a time I want and to an address I request.
This is by far the most efficient delivery service provided by a
post
office I have known. And need I mention that postal
workers are always polite?
