Daifoo Turns Fourteen (2005-12-09)
I would have talked about our cat's turning 14 in November last month had I not have devoted four weeks posting our US trip last month.
I can say with absolute certainty that if not for modern medicine, Daifoo would not be spending his 14th birthday with us. We're lucky the hyperthyroidism and heart disease which had been wrecking him physically for gosh knows how long were caught in time half a year ago.
Right now, our cat is relatively healthy with the help of
medication. Everyday passed with our little friend by our side is
a blessing I don't take for granted. I love him as much as I love
anybody who is worthy of love.
Daifoo is a good cat, he deserves the best. He deserves me!
