New Air-conditioners (2006-08-17)
Our air-conditioners have been raining water INSIDE our apartment like crazy. This time, unlike the previous years, they are beyond repair. Our landlord was pretty quick to send in an electrician with his partner (possibly his wife) to replace the faulty appliances.
Although the pair look more like your plebeian pappy and granny than
skilled electricians, they did do a thorough and efficient job
including operating large tools and lugging heavy exhaust fans
upstairs.
Now that we have brand new air-conditioners, we just need to try to stay in this apartment a little while longer to fully enjoy them.
