A Bad Time To Lose Your Job (2008-04-18)
USA is in a recession (even though Bush wouldn't say the R word), the economy here suffers from its effect too. Many companies are cutting staff to save cost, many more are in a hiring freeze at the moment. This maybe the worst time to lose your job. And yet, KL is about to lose his!!!
His department is to be shut down shortly due to cost saving and
lack of profit making. It looks like his job will only last till
May. Is it our destiny to leave Japan? Is our stay in Tokyo
long overdue? We'll see.
To always look at the bright side in every situation, even in adversity, I'm looking forward to June when he'll be home everyday, all day!
