Haircut, Tsui Wah Restaurant (2011-02-06)
When C got tired of Sham Shui Po, we returned to Tsim Sha Tsui as C wanted a haircut there and we could also grab dinner afterwards.Haircut prices are dirt cheap (about 1/8 to 1/10 of Tokyo prices) in
the Carnarvon Road area. C picked one that cost only HK$58 (US$7)
for wash, cut, blowdry and set. The hairdresser might have done a
decent job, the pricing might be low but the service provided was not
even 1/100 of what you get in Tokyo. Furthermore, the hairdresser
was angry and sullen the entire time, there's not a word or smile or
even a nod from her. Shudder~~~
Tsui Wah Restaurant was where we went for our post-haircut drinks
and a return dinner.
We tried to stay as late in Tsim Sha Tsui as possible before we
headed for the airport, but at the end we got very tired from all day
walking and shopping so we left the city around 10 pm.
