My Bike Does Not Look Cool Anymore (2004-10-11)
I finally bought a basket for my bike so I can buy a lot more grocery at the supermarket than what my backpack can hold. It's like adding a "trunk" to my "car". I needed a cover for it because there are the odd scumbags who snatch things from cyclists' baskets. The store-bought nets are just ugly and revealing, so I decided to make my own which will completely enwrap my basket.
Now my bike does not look cool anymore with a big basket and
cover. KL even says the cover looks ugly, a point I heavily
dispute. What's important here is I have a screen for my
shopping (now no one can see what I have in the basket), which is
absolutely essential for someone paranoid like me.
