Non Step Bus (2004-10-19)
I spotted a bus the other day with the words "Non Step Bus" on the side. That is rather intriguing. Perhaps they mean the bus has no steps at the entrance and exit. But there is always the one step passengers take to get on and off the bus because it doesn't go flush with the pavement. The name is confusing. But since most bus passengers are elderly Japanese people who know as much English as hamsters know physics, they won't take any notice of the words even though I think the name is really intended for them.
