Our Garden This Summer (2009-06-17)

Lots of growth in the front

Beans

Tiny beans everywhere

Before we bought poles for them to climb, I just stuck a plastic nylon mesh on the glass brick wall and weave the tiny stalk in and out the holes and it seems to work well this way

First time ever the lemon tree has so many fruits

Chillies are the easiest thing to grow. I planted these from seeds, crammed too many in a small pot but they just thrive with no pests or anything

Tomato and cucumbers

Baby cuke!

This one's a bit crooked

Baby blueberries!

Clusters of them

A boysenberry flower

The very first boysenberry from the plant which fell off itself

Tiny and tart

A second boysenberry forming

As always, I over-sowed seeds

Handsome choisum

Sugarsnap peas are doing well in just a styrofoam box

Decent size

Climbing happily on nylon mesh

Basil is also growing well

Harvested choisum and TWO sugarsnap peas

Harvested more choisum the next day and FOUR sugarsnap peas
