There are many ways to mess with a cat, in a fun and harmless way that is. There'll be no torture or pain involved with the subject while the messer gets tons of fun "playing" with the messee.
I'll tell you one way here: Instead of pulling on the whiskers of a cat, push them GENTLY BACK. Watch the cat bare its teeth and gum and there's nothing you can do but laugh!
