Yummy Focaccia (2006-10-04)
I love focaccia but going all the way to Roppongi Hills ()' L'atelier de Joel Robuchon to get theirs is a huge hassle. Besides, their small focaccia though incredibly soft and delicious is quite expensive at 260 yen/ $2.5 each.Imagine my joy when I stumbled upon a tiny bakery in the suburb just
one station from ours producing the same soft olive focaccia.
Theirs is over twice as big as L'atelier's and at 250 Yen each is an
absolute bargain. I usually get several each time and freeze the
batch, it tastes every bit as good when it is thawed and warmed in the
oven. Major buono stuff!
