Yum Cha in Hong Kong (2004-05-25)

I talked about yum cha on March 31.  I finally got to taste the real thing in Hong Kong.  The choice of dim sum seemed endless, the dim sum ladies just kept rolling new dishes out in bamboo steamers all the time and those that we picked were absolutely delicious.  We had our second yum cha lunch when KL's relatives treated us to one the day before we left Hong Kong at a restaurant in Sha Tin.  There were no dim sum ladies, we chose our dishes by checking off a long list.  They served very good roast pork there, the crispy skin just melted in your mouth and the meat was juicy.  It was a very satisfying meal.  And it came down to only about US $4 per person with a doggy bag to take home.  Amazing!
