Portuguese Egg Tart, Wonton Noodles, Dinner (2011-01-21)

November 15, 2010

As soon as we settled into our hotel room (which means dumping our bags and taking some photos), we headed straight out to get food!

It was just past 3 pm and I wanted C to try the wonton noodles from Mak's.  On our way there, I urged her to try a Portuguese egg tart from Macau Restaurant which I know she'd like 'cause she loves buttery food.

Mak's noodles were as good as recalled and we got lucky by having a free bowl of noodles!  The story is: when I went to pick up our order, I found an extra bowl of wonton noodles on the tray.  I told the cook I only ordered two bowls but he insisted that's my order.  Well, well, well, if you insist, I shall oblige, hahaha!

After the satisfying "snack", we browsed in nextdoor Harbor City mall before eating dinner at my beloved Crystal Jade.  I was so ready to show C a great time eating their food but the quality has dipped a lot!  The meal was just so-so which is very disappointing.

I didn't jot down the price of each dish, but the total of the meal came down to HK$170/US$22
